This is the fear of God that inspires the believer to love, respect and obey God.

Our fear of God is not based on a fear of death and punishment because Jesus Christ has set us free from this. (Romans 8: 1)
Because God’s presence inspired fear, God announced, “fear not!” whenever His presence manifested.
Revelation 1:17 we recognise God as our father who loves and reminds us that He is a consuming fire (Hebrews 12: 29).
